Montaje

Getting into the discourse of painting from a lost look, usually implies the submission of such look to the concept of form. In the form would then appear this story, as the "sense" would conform to the pre-eminence of that look. And other sense, sight, would determine satisfied, resigned and calmed in its stoicism, what it is formally said in painting. Works of art would be there as palces from where it is possible to translate the different variations of composition, the varied technical performances that have been carred out and consequently, perception would embrace form as a presence.
That presence is the one that has always existed in the poetry of Maria Aranguren, though now, at this current exhibition, can be seen as allowing itself to circulate between the description of inter-subjectivity and time and between play and omission, getting hold slowly of the personal definition of her ontological project.
